Name change
During the Exceptional Members Meeting of March 31th, it was decided to change the name of our study association into Asset | Strategy & Logistics. Our name will officially change during our lustrum week (25-31 October 2010). However, from september 2010 onwards our new name will be used in our communication.

About Asset | Strategy & Logistics
Asset | Strategy & Logistics is the study association for students with interest in strategy and logistics at Tilburg University. We support students in the Master programs Strategic Management and Supply Chain Management. We also support Bachelor students Business Administration with interest in Organization and Strategy.

Our study association has got three objectives:

1. Linking study to business
Asset | Strategy & Logistics gets students in contact with companies that are active in the fields of strategy and logistics. This way, students can direct towards business. Also, the chances of finding a job or internship can be increased this way. Asset | Strategy & Logistics organizes several activities to get students in contact with companies. The most important event to realize this objective is our Recruitment Event. Aside this, Management Cafés and Inhouse days are organized.  

2. Study support
The most important way of supporting students during their study is by providing them guidelines for courses in both their master and bachelor programs. We also organize information sessions on writing a bachelor or master thesis together with the department Organization and Strategy of Tilburg University. A third way in which we support students is by giving students the opportunity to give comments on the contents of their study.

3. Study enrichment
Aside support students, Asset | Strategy & Logistics gives students the opportunity to get more out of their study period. Among others, we organize our Strategic Symposium and Logistics Symposium. Also, two times a year our TOPPers magazine is publiched with articles on topics in the fields of both logistics and strategy.
